La Jewellery Recycled Brass Free Lolita Earrings
Product code: 482971
Handmade in the UK, these recycled brass tail fin earrings with recycled silver wires are inspired by the lovely Lolita who’s story is below:Lolita is an intelligent and sensitive orca who was stolen from her mother in the wild back in 1970, she has since been confined to the smallest orca tank in North America. Meaning daily misery for Lolita but big bucks for the Miami sea aquarium. Even though here shameful living conditions clearly violate the animal welfare act, the USDA continues to hand out AWA licences to the Seaquarium. The Animal Legal Defence Fund is outraged and working hard to give Lolita the justice she so rightly deserves which includes protection under the Endangered Species Act. All profits from this collection go towards funding for Lolitas return to the wild!La Jewellery is beautiful and unique handcrafted designs by Lisa Anne who finds endless inspiration in the Welsh landscape and environment which surrounds her. Their silver comes from sources they can trust and by dealers who value ethics and sustainability as well as quality and innovation, often as a reclaimed byproduct of other industrial processes, recycled and refined to make beautiful jewellery which can be worn and enjoyed with a clean conscience
